About FRANCINE SOPHIA

Hello! I’m Teacher Francine Sophia, an education student at Philippine Normal University with a particular interest in Social Studies, history, geography, and civics. My academic background and experience in student leadership have helped me develop my communication, organization, and collaborative skills, which I aim to bring into my tutoring sessions.

I can help elementary and junior high school students understand classroom lessons, review key concepts, prepare for quizzes, and strengthen their study habits, particularly in Social Studies and related subjects. I believe that topics become easier to understand when they are connected to real-life experiences, Philippine history and society, and situations students encounter in their everyday lives.

My tutoring approach begins with identifying what the student already knows and which concepts they find challenging. I then break down difficult topics into simpler explanations, provide concrete examples, and guide students through practice questions to check their understanding. I also encourage students to explain ideas in their own words so they can develop independent thinking instead of relying on memorization alone.

Teaching Methods and Techniques
