About JY
I am born and raised in South West London, and therefore will be able to communicate easily with the student.
I completed 11 years of Korean school, alongside Korean tutor lessons including: Korean History, Korean Language, Korean Maths and Beginner Hanja.
On the Superprof platform alone, I have worked with numerous students for several years, totalling over 700 hours of lessons, all with varying levels of Korean.

My teaching method is simple.
Working on the basic conversational classes, I will move up to pronunciation, recognition of letters, sounds and sentences, phrases, basic history and South Korean culture.
With my background in the arts, I hope to incorporate references to modern-day culture, and the language young people use.
I can teach Korean cultural mannerisms such as hierarchy and formality etc.
I can assist with formal language training using textbooks and workbooks that the student may wish to utilise.
I can be a teacher for beginners and intermediate students; however, I would prefer a Zoom consultation class (your free intro class) to assess your current level and your preferred learning style.
