Hello!! My name is Liliam and I am from Trujillo, Perú. I' m a Biologist and an English Teacher too with a master's degree in Educacional Managment and Accreditation.

Are you ready to enjoy learning Spanish? My passion is teaching whatever your level is, so I will help you to improve your Spanish with a variety of activities and conversational strategies to support your specific needs.

With more than 20 years of teaching experience working with people of all ages and tutoring Spanish to college students and professionals from around the world.

Speaking Spanish matters to me because it is a beautiful and versatile language that connects me with my culture and heritage. What is the main difficulty in learning this language and what can help the process of learning?
One main difficulty in learning Spanish is mastering its grammar, especially verb conjugations and the use of subjunctive mood. However, immersive practice, consistent exposure to native speakers, and engaging teaching methods, like storytelling and real-life context exercises, can make the process smoother and more enjoyable.

During my years teaching Spanish to international students, I vividly remember a professional from Europe who struggled with pronunciation. To help, I incorporated interactive techniques like singing traditional Peruvian songs. Not only did this improve their pronunciation, but it also deepened their understanding of the culture, creating a lasting and enriching learning experience.
How has travel or a specific trip helped you to increase your skill and knowledge of the language?
Although I live in Trujillo, interacting with students and professionals worldwide-many of whom have visited Peru-has expanded my perspective. Their questions and interpretations of Spanish culture often inspire me to explore my own language and traditions more deeply, enhancing my ability to teach effectively.
