About Vida-Marie

I am Vida, 31 years old and in love with studying languages and cultures.
After finishing my Bachelor of Education in Germany in 2018 I have lived and taught languages in Mexico, Spain, Switzerland, Ghana, and Australia.

I learned Spanish through full immersion by moving to Mexico without knowing a single word. Later, I lived in Spain for five years, where I continued developing my language skills while working for an international company and communicating daily in German, English, and Spanish.

This experience taught me how powerful real conversation and cultural immersion are when learning a language. Since then, Spanish has become an essential part of my life, both personally and professionally, and I love helping others gain the confidence to communicate naturally in a new language.

About the lesson

I believe the best way to learn a language is by speaking it.
By immersing ourselves in real conversations and expressions that truly matter to you, learning becomes natural and engaging. My lessons are tailored to your individual interests and goals, so that through speaking and interacting, grammar, writing and listening skills develop organically.

In our surf and yoga retreat in Spain, she has been giving ukulele classes for almost 3 years on a weekly basis, and our clients loved it. She is also an excellent language teacher, and as she was the only one fluent in German, English, and Spanish, she was a big help translating between our international clients and local staff. Highly recommended!

She's super helpful, patient and lovely. So everything you need in someone teaching you a new language or helping you to improve!
I had a lot of fun learning with her and believe me I'm not an easy student.

I've known Vida-Marie for a while now and she's honestly such a great tutor. She's really patient and explains things in a way that actually makes sense, which makes a huge difference when you're trying to learn a new language!
She's also really encouraging and creates a comfortable space where you don't feel awkward asking questions or making mistakes. I've seen how much effort she puts into helping people improve and feel more confident in themselves. I'd definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a supportive and reliable tutor.
