I am a passionate and fun Spanish Professor. I love languages and cultures. I am fluent in English and Spanish, proficient in Portuguese and posses a basic level of Japanese. My classes are geared toward students who want to become fluent in Spanish, either in Day-to-day Spanish or Business Spanish, and also knowledgeable about the culture of some Spanish speaking countries, the grammar and structure of the language.
My classes begin with a warm up. Then comes the introduction of the class (let it be the functions to apply in everyday, a grammar point, a business niche market, or many more). This is follow by the body of the class. The body of the class is intertwined with receptive activities (listening, reading or watching) and productive activities (oral conversation, writing and or acting), this is a hands-on approach.
At the end, there is a closure, it is an activity in which the student has the opportunity to produce information ir order to sink in the information taught throughout the class.
The most important factor for me is the studentsā learning, motivation, and engagement. I make my best effort for the students to say āwowā at the end of my class. I try to make my classes fun, this makes the students feel good about the class and increases their performance.
I utilize the first five minutes of my classes for introducing my students into the Hispanic culture, interweaving the culture with grammar points we have studied or that we are going to see and with associations of the studentās cultures and previous knowledge in order to make a link.
Additionally, I am committed to integrate the technology in my classes; utilizing websites (for example: thinklink.com) to dynamically present a culture class. I also utilize the technology for other purposes: to show videos (youtube), to make a group competition (kahoot.com), to teach an inverted class, to reinforce the speaking skill with an individual class.

He has taken advantage of the current available tools, not only to continuing to improve his methodology, but also to help his student achieve what is necessary to be confident and comfortable speaking and writing the English language in order to be successful in the very competitive business world.
Profesor Paul and I studied together in graduate school. The program he completed there was a very in-depth, extensive, and high-quality preparation for teaching Spanish. He taught university-level classes there during his studies. Students loved him for the way that he would make class interesting each day by spontaneously incorporating music, stories, and culture into his lessons. Profesor Paul and I prepared lessons together many times to use in our classes. His firsthand knowledge about Venezuela and other South American countries was always useful as we created fun and engaging lessons for our students.
First of all, Paul's attitude and empathy allowed a smoother empowerment and uplifting of the goal which is to learn his knowledge of the class.
