About Aria

My journey teaching Spanish began with a deep fascination for the language, literature, and cultural richness of the Hispanic world. I earned a B.A. in Spanish Language and Hispanic Cultural Studies, which provided a comprehensive foundation in grammar, phonetics, linguistics, and cultural context. Over 10 years, I have worked with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities, helping them achieve fluency, practical communication, and cultural understanding.

I teach with patience, encouragement, and adaptability, tailoring lessons to each student’s needs and learning goals. Lessons combine grammar instruction, conversational practice, listening exercises, reading comprehension, and cultural exploration. I emphasize fostering confidence, independence, and appreciation for the language, enabling learners to communicate effectively and engage meaningfully with Spanish-speaking communities.

Outside teaching, I actively explore Spanish literature, media, and culture to enrich lessons with authentic experiences.
