About Tess
My passion for Spanish developed through a love of languages and cultural exchange. This interest led me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish Language and Society and pursue a career in language education. Over the last 7 years, I have guided learners from different backgrounds toward their communication goals.
I believe successful teaching combines encouragement, structure, and adaptability. My teaching approach focuses on helping students apply language in practical situations while building confidence through steady progress. I enjoy creating lessons that feel engaging and rewarding.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring Hispanic cultures, reading Spanish-language publications, and studying language-learning methods. These experiences enrich my lessons and provide useful context for students. Helping learners become confident Spanish speakers continues to inspire me every day.

My Spanish lessons are designed to help students communicate effectively in practical situations while developing a strong understanding of the language. We focus on pronunciation improvement, vocabulary retention, grammar application, listening development, sentence formation, and speaking confidence through engaging activities and real-world practice. Every lesson encourages active communication from the beginning.
As learners strengthen their skills, we work on conversational fluency, reading interpretation, cultural exploration, verb accuracy, comprehension strategies, roleplay activities, and communication for daily life. Lessons are tailored to individual goals and interests, creating a learning experience that remains relevant and motivating. Consistent guidance supports continuous improvement.
I believe language learning should be interactive, meaningful, and enjoyable. My goal is to help students feel comfortable using Spanish while building confidence in their communication abilities. Every lesson promotes fluency, independence, and long-term language growth.
