About Maria

I am a very passionate, enthusiastic, native Spanish woman who has been living in England for ten years. I have a great, strong, grabbing personality which most of the people adore, thanks to that it is very easy for me to involve and charm others. I am very creative and empathic person. I got a Diploma in Advertising and Marketing, I speak four different languages and I have quite a large knowledge of different subjects such as languages, hospitality, wines, food, communication and numeracy, for example.
I am a very interesting person; I have a great life experience; I have lived in different countries which together with my studies of Spanish Filology helped me to understand the tricks of the communication and how the languages work.
I am very curious, very expressive, very intelligent, I have a massive memory.
I am funny and generous.
I love my family, cats, cooking, travelling, music, hanging with my friends, reading, writing.

About the lesson

I normally make a small test to the student so that I can place my student at the right level.
My lessons normally last a hour, they are very different depending of the level of the student. I work with all levels and all ages, children, adults,...
A usual lesson, for a beginner, for example, will start with the learning intentions, a brief explanation of grammar, vocabulary,... and will end with learning activities that will help the student to practice what was learnt in the lesson.
I also love to put lots of homework to my students.
I have a Degree in Advertising, I did my uni in Madrid. I have also studied Drama and Education Studies in Canterbury.
I have lots of years of experience as tutor of Spanish, Italian, Maths and Literacy.
