About Carl
I am both Mexican and Spanish, and it is a huge honor to be able to teach this language and culture. It is not something that I take lightly, and it is my hope that my students are learning more than just grammar or vocabulary in my lessons/classes. I want them to learn about the Spanish-speaking world and our culture/heritage as well!

- My teaching style is very interactive, and I meet you where you are at when it comes to your language level. I am always asking questions about comprehension and want to make sure that you are understanding concepts before moving on, instead of just assuming that you do.
- I have taught online before (during COVID), so I have experience teaching online. My goal is to make sure that our classes are not awkward and that you enjoy our lessons and want to take more.
- I am a big believer in bringing in authentic resources into my lessons and classes, whether it is real life culture, our musicians, books/novels/short stories and making them relevant to our class and concepts we are learning about!
