About Mdyah

Over the past seven years, I’ve had the privilege of helping over 150 high school and college students improve their Spanish through tailored, interactive lessons. I focus on creating a supportive environment where students feel safe to make mistakes and grow. We work together to develop all four language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing, with a heavy emphasis on communication. My lessons include engaging activities like storytelling, debates, and music analysis to keep learning lively and fun. I also help students prepare for exams with targeted practice on difficult grammar topics and test-taking strategies. One student who came to me anxious about passing their AP Spanish exam ended up scoring a 5 thanks to our consistent, focused work. Whether you’re just starting out or aiming for fluency, I’m committed to helping you reach your full potential with patience and encouragement.
