About Briar
I am an enthusiastic guitar tutor with 14 years of teaching experience, guiding students from high school, college, and adult learners. I have taught 150–200 students, helping them develop technical skills, creativity, and confidence on the guitar.
My lessons are designed to be engaging, practical, and inspiring, tailored to each student’s learning style and goals. I celebrate every achievement, from learning a simple chord to performing in front of an audience.
Watching students grow, overcome challenges, and develop a love for music has been the most rewarding part of my career. I believe that music is a tool for self-expression and personal growth, and my goal is to help students unlock their potential while enjoying every moment of their musical journey.

My teaching approach for Guitar is based on real music and strong student support. I believe guitar learning should feel enjoyable and meaningful. Lessons are designed using real songs and common playing situations to help students apply skills easily.
Case studies are used to show how guitarists handle common challenges. Problem-solving techniques help students improve finger strength, timing, and strumming control. I explain each solution patiently and clearly.
Motivation is encouraged through regular encouragement and progress tracking. Integrity is central to my teaching, and feedback is always honest. My flexible teaching style allows lessons to be adapted to different learning speeds and goals. In addition to Guitar, I also teach basic theory, rhythm exercises, and simple music reading.
