About Emma

I'm a native Italian speaker who has been living in London since 2017, and I've grown up with both Italian and English influences. I love sharing my language and culture with others, from food and travel to the little everyday expressions you won't necessarily find in a textbook.

Being fluent in both Italian and English helps me understand the challenges English speakers face when learning Italian. I can explain differences in everyday expressions in a clear, relatable way, helping you understand not just what to say, but why.

I know speaking a new language can feel intimidating, so I want to create a friendly, relaxed environment where you can practise, ask questions and make mistakes without feeling judged!

Whether you're preparing for a trip, reconnecting with Italian or simply curious to learn something new, I'm looking forward to helping you on your Italian journey.

About the lesson

I believe the best way to get comfortable with a language is to actually use it, not spend every sentence worrying about getting it perfect!

Whether you're just starting out, brushing up on rusty Italian or already pretty fluent and looking for more practice, our one-to-one conversations will be tailored to your level, interests and goals.

We can meet online or in person at a café near you!

We'll chat about real life, travel, food, Italian culture and whatever else gets us talking. You'll have the chance to build your confidence, expand your vocabulary and express yourself more naturally in Italian.

Mistakes welcome, curiosity encouraged, perfection not required. Let's make speaking Italian feel less like a test and more like a conversation you'd genuinely enjoy. :)
