About Pei Ping
Hi, I’m your Bahasa Melayu teacher, and I’m truly passionate about helping students—especially non-native BM speakers—master Bahasa Melayu with confidence and joy.
Do you know why I love teaching BM? Because I once struggled with it too. I used to fail Bahasa Melayu, and I knew how frustrating and discouraging it felt. But I made a strong decision (tekad) to improve. I worked hard, changed my learning method, and slowly understood the language better. Eventually, I achieved an A in all my major BM examinations.
That journey changed me. It showed me that with the right guidance, practice, and mindset, anyone can improve.
That’s why I teach. I want every student to have the opportunity to master Bahasa Melayu in a fun, supportive, and effective way—without fear, without stress, and with full confidence.

My Tutoring Approach
I use a facilitator-based and fun learning approach to ensure students actively participate in class rather than just listen passively. My teaching focuses on understanding, confidence-building, and practical application.
I apply a 2-way interactive method, encouraging students to speak, ask questions, and practice actively. Each lesson includes a special hands-on learning session and native-speaking practice to improve fluency, pronunciation, and writing skills.
Lesson Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes per session.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree Primary School Teacher.
7 years teaching Bahasa Melayu in a Government Primary School.
10 years of experience as a private Bahasa Melayu tutor.
Target Students:
Year 1–6 primary students (Tahap 1 & Tahap 2), suitable for students who need stronger foundation, exam preparation, or confidence in Bahasa Melayu.
