About Melanie
I am a professional piano accordion instructor with an active YouTube channel and Facebook community where I regularly share my playing and tutorials. I love sharing this beautiful, versatile instrument with students locally in Edmonton and all around the globe. I have a professional teaching studio that is fully stocked with instruments and a lot of music! I teach both in my Edmonton studio and worldwide online!

Whether you are picking up the instrument for the first time or transitioning your existing piano skills to the piano accordion, I offer structured, tailored lessons.I focus heavily on the elements that self-taught players struggle with most: left-hand bass button layouts, bellows coordination, and smooth hand independence. If you already play the piano, you already know half the instrument! I specialize in helping pianists easily transition their right-hand keyboard skills smoothly to the accordion.Lessons are customized to your musical goals and pace. I offer flexible video learning via Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, FaceTime, or Zoom, as well as in-person slots at my comfortable Edmonton studio. All ages and skill levels are welcome!

Details
Lessons are usually 30 minutes long at the start. Once you get started some students wish to have longer lessons or more frequent lessons.
Rates are $30/30 minutes, $45 for 45 minutes and $60 for 60 minutes.
When you first contact me, I offer a FREE introductory meeting for approximately 15 to 20 minutes to meet, discuss what your goals are, see your accordion, camera angle and all sorts of things to be totally prepared for your regular lessons. I also am so happy to answer any
questions you have may have and get you totally comfortable on the accordion learning journey. My quality everyone! says about me is my
