I have 24 years of teaching, a master's degree in education, bachelor's degree, an elementary license, a secondary math license, both CLAAD certified (multi-cultural focused).
I have taught inner city student, rural students, all grades, including adults (ABE) and college students.

I have had great success helping math students to realize that they are actually already good in math and algebra. Confidence is the key, and success is the key to confidence. It is so exciting for me to watch students grow to like math, because they are actually quite good at it.
You will build a strong foundation in the "whys" and "hows" of numbers, making algebra quite easy.
You now longer need to be confused or intimidated by fractions, negative integers, etc. It's well within your reach.
I will work with you until you "get it" and then show you how to extend it into the rest of your math needs.
Working with any student who wants to be strong in the basics that are used in all math and algebra classes, without regard for age, grade, etc. I have had success with elementary all the way up to college students of all ages.
