About DHARANI
I am DHARANI S M Speech and Language Pathologist working in a Non Governmental Organisation. I've completed my Bachelor in Audiology & Speech Language Pathology (BASLP) from the Madras Medical College (Institute of Speech and Hearing, Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital), Chennai.
During my clinical internship, I gained practical exposure in speech and language assessment, Pediatric & Adult rehabilitation, Therapy planning & execution, Patient & Parent counseling and Home training. I have hands-on experience in Assessment and management of Adult Neurogenic communication disorders, swallowing disorders, Assessment and Management of Dysarthria, Apraxia, Aphasia and bedside screening.
I am passionate about delivering patient-centered care, teletherapy and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary clinical teams. My strong communication skills, empathy, and commitment to professional development enable me to contribute effectively in telerehabilitation.
