About Annabel

Hi, I’m Annabel! I’m a Sport and Exercise Science student at the University of Bath, having achieved *A*AA in A-Level PE, Psychology and Biology.

I’m currently undertaking sport science research in New Zealand, where I’m gaining hands-on experience and developing my understanding of sport and human performance beyond the classroom.

My own experience of studying with dyslexia and ADHD has taught me the importance of patience, adaptability and finding effective ways to overcome academic challenges. I know how rewarding it can be when a topic finally clicks, and I’d love to help other students experience that feeling.

I’m approachable, enthusiastic about PE and committed to creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress at their own pace

About the lesson

My lessons are designed around what you need help with, whether that’s understanding a difficult topic, improving your exam technique or working towards a higher grade.

I use real sporting examples to explain PE theory, break complex topics into manageable steps and use active recall and exam-style questions to help you remember and apply what you’ve learnt. We’ll also look at how to structure answers and identify what exam questions are asking so you can make the most of your knowledge.

As someone who struggled in school with dyslexia and ADHD, I know that one approach doesn’t work for everyone. I’m happy to adapt how we work together and help you find revision strategies that suit you.

I offer online-only tutoring for GCSE and A-Level PE students.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes, with availability in the mornings and evenings. I’m currently studying Sport and Exercise Science at the University of Bath and bring my subject knowledge and personal experience of exam preparation to each session.
