About Valerie
Hello! I’m Valerie, an English tutor from Canada! I am TEFL certified and I am currently in my 4th year of university to get my Bachelor’s degree in Business and Marketing.
I’m also learning another language, so I truly understand what it’s like to start from scratch, make mistakes, and build confidence step by step. That’s why my lessons are fun, relaxed, and focused on your personal goals, whether that’s speaking more confidently, understanding everyday English, or improving your pronunciation.
I have a QUALIFI Level 5 TEFL Diploma with 168 hours of study and I have two years experience teaching English in Mexico and 3 years experience teaching ESL online.
I also have a background in Business and Marketing as well as over 10 years experience in the Hospitality and Restaurant industry.
My approach is patient and supportive, helping you feel comfortable using English from day one. Together, we’ll create lessons tailored to your needs, so you can start applying what you learn in real life right away.
