About Emma
My name is Emma and I am about to enter my second year at the University of Strathclyde studying Mathematics, Statistics and Finance.
I believe that Maths is a fundamental skill for life but studying it can be daunting for many. I want to make Maths a little less scary and help you pass your exam.
My knowledge of the subject will aid you in your studying. If you do not know how to study, don't worry! We will work on techniques and I'll show you all the methods I used in order to achieve straight As.

I believe Mathematics is all about understanding, therefore, I aim to break down the complex ideas in a one-on-one environment where any questions can be asked without embarrassment. I understand the subject isn't for everyone so my priority is to equip you with the skills and knowledge to pass your exam.
My qualifications include: 7 National 5 (all As), 5 Highers (all As) and 3 Advanced Highers (AAB). I passed all 3 of my maths exams with an A and achieved almost a perfect score on my National 5 paper. Additionally, I have experience in tutoring pupils for their Maths exam.
My sessions would be 1 hour long (however I am open to suggestions) and are for pupils studying for the QS National 5 or Higher Mathematics paper (Not the same as Applications of Maths).
