About Chase
With over 8 years of teaching experience and a MSc in Mathematical Finance, I specialize in advanced mathematics for motivated learners. My focus areas include abstract algebra and topology, where I highlight the importance of reasoning and proof writing. I teach group theory and ring theory through practical examples that make abstract ideas tangible. For topology, I emphasize intuition alongside formal rigor, helping students grasp continuity, open sets, and mappings. My sessions are built on logic, structure, and clear progression. I have worked with undergraduates, graduate students, and those committed to careers in pure mathematics. Many find my approach helpful in bridging the gap between coursework and deeper understanding. I encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and careful analysis. Students are guided not only to solve problems but also to see the beauty of mathematical structures. My lessons combine discussion, practice, and review of proofs. With time, learners develop clarity and precision in their work. I aim to build mathematicians who are both confident and versatile, grounded in theory and ready for application.

My method of teaching math blends structure with creativity. Topics like coding logic, discrete math, and algorithmic thinking are taught step by step. Computational processes are explained with real-world coding examples. Programming analogies make abstract problems simple to grasp. This shows students that math and digital life go hand in hand. I guide both Architect-type learners, who enjoy system design, and Proof Seekers, who value logic and precision. Lessons are paced to suit each student’s needs. Complex problems are broken into smaller, manageable steps. I encourage critical thinking while keeping lessons relaxed and engaging. Students gain confidence as they practice and receive feedback. Math becomes not just numbers but a language of problem-solving. I make sure learners feel comfortable sharing their thought process. Together, we build math skills that are practical and creative.
