I’m an experienced Mathematics, 11+ and Private School Entrance Exam Tutor, also a parent of two children, living in Surrey where I have been tutoring for some time. I have a Maths Degree from Manchester University and have complete knowledge of the GCSE and KS 2 to 4 curriculum. I have direct experience of the joys of school exams, different learning styles and the current curriculum. I teach and specialise in Maths for children and adults of all ability levels. My approach is based on structured one hour sessions usually once per week and normally weekday afternoons and early evenings, but can do weekends if required. I like to map out a plan with parents at an early stage that we can then set out to achieve together and assess progress against regularly. I am a patient and approachable tutor able to get the best out of all ability levels - I work on the confidence of the student as well as the knowledge itself and exam approach. Maths is a challenging subject so keeping things simple and working step by step helps the student click things into place.
I tutor both Foundation and Higher students for GCSE Maths. Any age for entrance exams, Maths, Verbal, English and Nonverbal subjects.
