About Raine
I am 34 and a structural engineer. I didn’t love maths at school till I had a great teacher. Her approach to the subject really broke it down for me which showed me how simple it can be. I do believe it is imperative to have a solid foundation of understanding to build upon. I’m a surfer, lived overseas in France for a number of years before coming home to Sydney to work in an engineering consultancy. After having great success with the students I tutor I am now studying a masters in teaching to become a high school maths teacher.

I believe that having a better understanding of maths is all about shifting your relationship with it, breaking it down so the step by step process can be easily achieved. We all learn differently and I feel that it is important to have an individual approach for every student.
