About Aya
I am a first-year university student studying Finance, with a background in Maths, French, and Economics at A-Level. I have always enjoyed helping others, and tutoring allows me to share my passion for learning while supporting students in their academic journey. Seeing my students grow in confidence is so rewarding, and I strive to create a positive and encouraging learning environment. Outside of academics, I enjoy dancing, reading, and cooking! By tailoring my approach to each student’s needs, I aim to make maths more accessible and enjoyable, helping them build both skills and self-belief.

I take a patient and structured approach to maths tutoring, focusing on building strong foundational skills and boosting students’ confidence. My lessons typically last between 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the student’s needs, and I tailor my teaching methods to suit each individual, using clear explanations, real-life examples, and plenty of practice questions to reinforce understanding. I have experience tutoring A-Level maths students through a scheme run by my old sixth form, and I now offer lessons for students aged 10-16 (Year 5 to Year 11). Whether they need support with schoolwork, exam preparation, or just want to improve their confidence in maths, I adapt my lessons to help them succeed.
