About Britteny
I am a second year student in University of Waterloo. I am academically experienced in Music theory and reading. I participated in several music clubs throughout high school such as the choir and orchestra with experiences in reading vocal, violin and piano sheet music. I studied music theory and passed the Grade 5 ABRSM music theory exam when I was in middle school. I also completed IB higher level music before coming to university. Since being in university, I haven’t had much chance to apply my music knowledge, and I am hoping that tutoring can at least help me regain my familiarity and interest with music.

My teaching methodology are consulting student their studying habit, preparing materials before class, providing support and guidance around students’ preferences, and patience. I also find quizzing as an efficient methods for students to learn and absorb study materials. I want my lessons to be personalized around the student’s preferences and learning habits.
