About Yilin
Hi! I'm YiLin, an undergraduate in my first year at the University of Bristol studying Cellular and Molecular Medicine.
I have had previous tutoring experience from piano, but since studying Biology/Chemistry at a higher level in university, I have decided to begin academic tutoring instead.

Having done A levels very recently (2023), I know the specification especially well (OCR A) and I'm more than happy to share my revision tips and exam techniques.
My approach for GCSE and A Level will be very similar - if not the same!
The exams are based off the specification, so developing knowledge around this information provided by the exam board is a crucial starting point.
We will start from the basics for any topics you are unsure of and build on that.
Exam questions and papers are also an extremely useful resource we will utilise in lessons - by applying the knowledge you build in lessons and practicing good exam technique, you will be able to understand what key points the examiners are searching for.
I am happy to mark any additional papers you have done and provide feedback too.
