I approach topic areas by practice practice practice! I found with maths there is no better method than doing lots of questions until you find a weakness. From here I would simplify these sort of questions and then build from them after. I have also picked up lots of different and unique ways of tackling questions meaning that if one method doesnt suit the tutee, then another can be used
