About Brandon
I am a lifelong musician who has dedicated my whole being to music. I have performed with some of the legends of music, important contemporary artists and have been nominated for Grammy and Latin Grammy Awards and have won Two Polaris Prizes. I have been teaching for twenty years and bring a passion and joy to the lessons and attempt to instill this same sense of wonder in my students.

My teaching and artistic philosophy takes at its foundation the development of the creativity and artistic faculties. I teach from the fundamentals and develop technique, reading, listening, and performing on the drum kit or various percussion instruments. I teach all ages, from beginners looking to learn about the basics of drumming and music making to advanced students looking to deepen their insights and creativity in their artistic practice.
