About Charl

Holding both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music, I bring a strong academic and professional foundation to my guitar teaching. My lessons are designed to provide structured learning while fostering creativity, expression, and musical understanding. I begin with the core elements of technique, including posture, finger positioning, chord transitions, rhythm, and tone, then progress to advanced skills such as improvisation, phrasing, and composition. I incorporate music theory into lessons in a practical, approachable way, ensuring students can apply concepts to real songs. Each session is personalized, addressing individual goals, learning styles, and strengths. I emphasize ear training, sight-reading, and performance preparation to help students achieve well-rounded musicianship.
