"Retiring from federal language instruction was a major turning point. My Bachelor of Education in French Immersion from the University of Ottawa provides the foundation for my ESL methodology. Helping 461 students reach their language goals has shaped how I teach grammar foundations and academic writing.
I specialize in refining pronunciation and accent while building conversational fluency for busy professionals. Many of my students are university applicants who need to master specific idioms and expressions to succeed. Sometimes I look back at my own academic journey and find it helps me relate to the nerves students feel before big tests. It keeps me humble to see the work you put in."
