About Jacqueline

Hi, I am a tutor in English (KS2) and theatre performance studies, based in Dulwich. I have been tutoring the English Language to Russian students in KS2 between the age range of 7 - 12, for 2 years. Furthermore, I have been teaching workshops in devising theatre to different age-ranges showing students how to find the ability to make and create theatrical shows from scratch.

I have graduated Rose-Bruford Drama School in 2019, finishing with a bachelors degree in European Theatre Arts. Attending The BRIT School of Performing Arts and technology, throughout my GSCES and A levels.

My training and education have come from a theatrical and drama background, only to enhance my approach in teaching students to be engaged and excited when it comes to learning English. Building up key skills in story-telling, creative writing, spelling and poetry. Boosting confidence in students to find their ability to reading out loud and believing in their work.

I also provide a different learning approach for students who have learning difficulties such as Dyslexia and ADHD. which is less of a sit-down, pen and paper stance, but introducing games and learning exercises to enhance concentration and provide an approach to organisation, preparing students to cope with their difficulties in school or later on in life.

My goals as a tutor are:

1. To ensure upkeeping with syllabus school work and achieve excellent grades.
2. Providing techniques and skills in absorbing information that varies to each individual.
3. Proofreading and providing students with learning difficulties with the support needed to achieve the grades that they deserve.

Late Cancellation Policy:

If you need to cancel a session that has already been booked, please get in contact as soon you can. I will always try to rearrange for a different time if possible.

For cancellations with under 24 hours notice, the following charges will apply (if the session cannot be rearranged):

Above 6 hours notice: £10
Under 6 hours notice: £20
