About Sloane

My interest in Spanish began during my early studies when I discovered how expressive and culturally rich the language is. This curiosity led me to pursue a Master's Degree in Spanish Language Studies, where I studied grammar, literature, and communication patterns in Spanish-speaking communities. Over the past 6 years, I have worked with students from different backgrounds to help them improve their Spanish skills.

I believe that learning a new language should feel positive and motivating. My teaching style focuses on clear explanation, regular conversation practice, and supportive guidance. Each student learns differently, so I adjust lessons to match their pace and goals. Some learners want to improve conversational Spanish, while others focus on academic language development.

Outside teaching, I enjoy reading Spanish books and learning about the cultures of Spanish-speaking countries. These experiences allow me to bring authentic topics into my lessons. Teaching Spanish is rewarding because I see students gradually gain confidence and enjoy using the language.

About the lesson

My Spanish lessons focus on helping students feel comfortable speaking the language while building a clear understanding of grammar and vocabulary. Beginners begin with pronunciation practice, common greetings, and useful phrases used in everyday communication. Listening activities allow students to hear the rhythm and sound of Spanish so they can begin understanding spoken language naturally. Through simple conversations, learners quickly start using Spanish in practical situations.

As students improve, lessons begin to include verb conjugation, sentence structure, and more detailed vocabulary. Reading short passages helps learners strengthen comprehension skills while learning new expressions. Writing activities allow students to practice forming sentences and organizing ideas in Spanish. I provide clear explanations and gentle corrections so students understand mistakes and improve steadily.

My goal is to create lessons that feel encouraging and meaningful. Language learning becomes easier when students practice regularly in a supportive environment. Over time learners become more confident speaking, listening, reading, and writing Spanish. The language becomes a useful skill that supports travel, study, and communication with people from different cultures.
