About Margaret Christina (goes by Chris)
I have been coaching with Special Olympics for over 25 years. I feel to be an affective coach I need to ensure that there is a bond of trust between myself and my clients. This is especially true when having new swimmers try things that takes them out of them out of their comfort level.

I feel it is important to have a great rapport with the clients I am working with. I work with all different ages from 4 years old to 80 years old. I also, work with all different levels of swimmers: from new swimmers to advance swimmers who are training for triathlons or other events. It is important to discuss what their expectations are with the lessons. I believe that the lessons should not only focus on stamina and skill development, but also on water safety.
