Everyone has a different starting point. A private 30 minute lesson can establish a personal plan to meet your specifications. My main goal is to ensure my students' comfort first, then their technique; a relaxed swimmer learns quicker than a rushed or nervous one.
The order of accomplishments from beginner to adept swimmer begin with water comfort. Breath control, floating and getting used to submersion are first. In our first lesson we will evaluate our body position while floating on our front and back, introduce our kicking technique and practice a glide. This evaluation allows me to make adjustments to a program tailored specifically to your ability.
Lessons are available at 6090 Dixie Road, if you have a private pool we can choose the most convenient option for you. All ages and ability levels are welcome, whether overcoming discomfort in the water as an adult or learning bubbles as a kid, let’s build your confidence in the water.
