About Camille
Perhaps you're learning because water has always made you nervous. Perhaps you can swim but never feel completely comfortable. Maybe you're preparing for your first triathlon or looking for the extra edge before an endurance event. Whatever brought you to swimming, I bring enthusiasm, patience, and practical coaching experience to your journey. I love working with people and seeing the moment when something that once seemed difficult suddenly clicks. My approach combines technical observation, demonstrations, focused drills, encouragement, and progressive challenges. I coach beginners without rushing them and experienced swimmers without holding them back. We can work on breathing, body position, stroke mechanics, efficiency, endurance, pacing, or all four strokes according to your goals. My personality is an important part of my coaching: I aim to create sessions that are serious about improvement without becoming intimidating or monotonous. Ultimately, I want you to associate swimming with progress, confidence, achievement, and enjoyment.

Some swimmers want to overcome fear. Others want to swim their first continuous mile, improve fitness, prepare for a triathlon, or finally feel comfortable in open water. Whatever brings you to the pool, we start from that reality. The lesson begins with a warm-up and observation, followed by a clear technical focus. We break the skill into smaller movements, practice through targeted drills, and gradually bring it back into your complete stroke. As you become more comfortable, we increase the distance, complexity, or pace. Beginners receive patient support as they develop breathing, balance, and fundamental strokes, while experienced swimmers can work toward efficiency, endurance, pacing, and performance. I coach in the water, allowing me to observe your movement closely and demonstrate corrections directly. We finish by reflecting on what improved and deciding what comes next. Progress may begin with one confident length, but with the right steps, there is no reason to stop there.
