About Federica
I worked in Italy, Rome, in different sport centres and on private yachts in the Mediterranean.
I started learning swimming very soon as a child, then practiced for 10 years and started to teach.
I trained to be a teacher at CONI, Rome, the only accredited centre which is also the Olympic venue.

I worked in Italy, Rome, in different sport centres and on private yachts.
Teaching:
I trained children, young people and adults. Also I had classes of babies (0-2 years old) in order to make them familiarize with water from the real beginning of their life. This makes them perfectly comfortable to start, later in the years, the swimming lessons without fear and with strong breathing capacities.
Breathing is one of the keys of swimming in fact, at any age, and I always want my clients to achieve, in the water, the same level of comfort they have out of the water.
An other key I really care about is technique. A very good technique allows correct movements that make swimming one of the healthiest sports.. if practised correctly! Also, good technique enhances speed and control of the water. All the swimming process must become a constant control, with your body, of the water around. Last but not least, good technique is nice to look at!
Training:
I help people to improve their speed and resistance to achieve better performance, also correcting technique when necessary. I give advice about exercises in and out of the water to improve their swimming.
