I’m a self-taught professional photographer with a passion for helping beginners understand photography in a simple and enjoyable way. I’ve developed my skills through hands-on experience, practice and continuous learning. I’m patient, approachable and happy to explain things in a way that makes sense, helping students build confidence with their camera and develop their own creative style.

Practical Photography Lessons for Beginners
I’m a self-taught professional photographer offering friendly, practical lessons for beginners. My teaching style is relaxed and easy to follow, with a focus on learning by doing rather than getting overwhelmed by technical jargon. You don't need a camera I can teach smartphone photography too!
What I can cover:
- Why your photos are too dark/bright
- Why your photos are too blurry/out of focus
- Why your photos look flat
- How to fix all of the above
- Understanding your camera settings
Each lesson is typically 1 hour and can be tailored to your experience, interests and goals.
I’m particularly suited to absolute beginners and hobby photographers who want to understand their camera, improve their photos and learn at their own pace. No previous photography experience is needed.
