About Jackyyap

I am an Electrical Engineering graduate from Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM) with a strong academic record and a passion for helping students succeed in their studies. Having excelled in subjects like Additional Mathematics, Mathematics, Physics, and Science throughout my education, I understand the challenges students face and how to guide them through difficult topics. I want to teach because I believe every student has the potential to excel if given the right guidance, encouragement, and learning approach. Tutoring allows me to share my knowledge, inspire confidence, and help students not only improve their grades but also develop a genuine interest in learning.

About the lesson

My tutoring approach focuses on simplifying complex concepts into clear, step-by-step explanations, using real-life examples and practice questions to help students understand and apply what they learn. I adapt my teaching style based on each student’s pace and learning preference, ensuring they build a strong foundation before moving on to more challenging topics. A typical lesson lasts about 1.5 to 2 hours, balancing theory, problem-solving, and revision to reinforce understanding. With experience as a tutor for both primary and secondary school students, and a strong academic background in Electrical Engineering, I specialize in teaching Additional Mathematics, Mathematics, and Physics for Form 4 and Form 5 students, as well as Mathematics and Science for primary and lower secondary levels. My lessons are designed to help students improve their grades, gain confidence, and develop problem-solving skills that will benefit them beyond the classroom.
