About Mike
I'm a folk singer and songwriter from Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. I grew up playing the fiddle, and eventually taught myself guitar and many other instruments. I'm currently based in Montreal, Quebec Canada, and can take on lessons remotely for students across the world.

Take lessons from me because I'm a professional, award-winning songwriter with 3 studio albums and a 4th in the works.
My lessons are casual, and in a folk-style where the song and its storytelling process is king. I believe that music can be learned orally/aurally in a simple, repeat-after-me method; the way I was taught!
