About Diksha

I am a student born and raised in India, Hindi language is my mother tongue, till high school Hindi was part of my syllabus, and I've taken lectures in college, so if you're interested in learning Hindi, feel free to book for a class.

About the lesson

~First of all I'll teach you how to introduce yourself and will keep working on it until you speak fluently. ~Now as you know how to introduce yourself, we'll slowly slowly get into the language. ~Learning new words every day (Hindi Vocabulary). ~Every day we will talk on random topics.

@oliver is a good learner more importantly he himself takes lots of efforts to understand Hindi and he's getting Better day by day and I'm pretty sure within few days he'll speak like a native local guy haha

What motivates you to teach & why?
I was inspired by the good teachers in my class, I always wanted to the same with the belief that I can teach much better, I see many young students struggle in learning, which motivates me to help them and be the small part of their success.
When did you start developing an interest in your subject area?
When I was in 8th grade, I realised this is something, I am very confident about, I was delivering speeches in Hindi, I was doing well in academics, and then soon I started teaching Hindi.
If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?
I would say my Hindi teacher in high school, because Hindi was my native language and I used to believe that there is nothing much to learn as I already speak it, but then her lectures gave me a whole different perspective of language, and made me more confident about it.
What is the biggest obstacle you had to overcome in mastering your craft?
English, because when I was growing up all my study was in English and Hindi was one of the six subjects, so I only learn Hindi if I open Hindi book, and English was everywhere - science, geography, history. So I have to spend extra time doing Hindi, I was never a boring task though 😃
In your opinion, what makes someone excel in your subject area?
Improving your Hindi Vocabulary, forming correct sentences, start thinking in Hindi, try to speak Hindi daily.
What would you say to a student who says, "This is too difficult, I give up!"?
See nothing is difficult, either you are not doing Hindi it, or doing it in a wrong way, and this implies to everything in life. so if you're very sure about learning Hindi, then feel free to contact, you'll realise you've started doing Hindi and in the correct way.
