About Sheena
Hello! My name is Shena, and I am excited for the opportunity to be your tutor.
I have a diverse background in education and experience supporting students of various ages and learning styles. I am passionate about helping students build confidence, develop their skills, and achieve their academic goals.
As a mother of a teenage daughter who is actively involved in dance and volleyball, I understand the importance of balancing school, extracurricular activities, and personal growth. My patient, easy-going nature allows me to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel supported and encouraged to succeed.
I believe every student has the potential to excel when given the right guidance and support. My teaching approach focuses on positive reinforcement, building confidence, and helping students develop the skills they need for long-term success.
My areas of expertise include Math and English, and I also specialize in supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and ADHD. I strive to adapt my teaching methods to meet each student's unique learning needs and help them reach their full potential.
