- I always begin my tutoring sessions with foundational knowledge and concepts, asking the students what they already know. This foundational knowledge of language, structure and context is crucial for the current exam syllabuses. Once this has been established, we build upon critical thinking and analysis- a technique that hits the highest bands in exam papers for both GCSE and A level. This is applied gradually through various fun activities, games and essay based tasks. Each session is highly adaptable to the students' needs and method of learning.
- Lesson length = 60-90 minutes.
- As an undergraduate student, I have a solid academic foundation in my field of study, which allows me to provide knowledgeable and effective tutoring. I have 3 A Levels, including an A* in English Literature, as well as 11 GCSEs.
-I have worked in schools and educational settings part-time for 3 years.
-I have over a year of tutoring experience with exam-based material.
