About Katherine
I am a senior Secondary English Education major at Anderson University with experience helping students with grammar, writing, and literature. Through my training, I have been able to build my skills as an educator through teaching three formal lessons in the classroom at two high schools. In this way, I am aware of how to help struggling students through one-on-one personalized instruction.

My teaching method is based on the knowledge that everyone has the capacity to understand all concepts. While some concepts are harder than others, it just takes a little push in the right direction for students to fully understand difficult concepts. That push is guided learning so that students see the process of learning and than reproduce that process on their own.
