His expertise is on jazz (and that’s What I was looking for, although I’m a rock enthusiast), even though he can play pretty much anything flawlessly. His knowledge on guitar (playing and deep theory knowledge) worth to be mentioned, and he can easily adapt to fit each student’s goals, regardless of their level. Another great quality is that he is extremely patient. He knows how to teach complex theory in a easy understandable way. I have had five guitar teachers in my life. All great. But, Emmanuel was the first to really provide me with a motivation to KEEP THE STUDY. Because, in fact, I always dropped out after a while and was just looking for repertoire. One thing that sets him apart from other teachers I've had is that, even though I came to classes without having studied (because I have little time to dedicate myself), he brings something that adds to me: Emmanuel's class is a separate study, which always takes you further. Because of this, I progressed in a year rather than decades in my life. And precisely because Emmanuel knows what is needed. For him, the study of music includes listening to what is playing, having good taste and going to the heart of theory, in what matters to put under your finger. I highly recommend it.
