About the lesson
When it comes to lesson structure, the first thing that comes to mind is that every student is a different project. That's why a lesson is always a two-way road; I try to get as much feedback as I can from students and adapt to help them to have the best experience in class. Besides, the most significant part of learning an instrument is the work you do in between classes. My role as an instructor is to help others develop a realistic and effective practice schedule that will work for each student individually.
One of the best things you can experience as a musician is to help others to grow musically through teaching. I am very passionate about music and always willing to share as much information as possible and give the best assistance to students independently of their level of experience.

About Emmanuel
I started to learn Bass when I was 11. I would show a lot of tunes to the bass teacher, and he said, everything you want to learn is the guitar parts. After he said that, I realized that I should switch to guitar.
At first, I was learning some songs, nothing serious to have fun with my friends, that changed after we started a rock band during high school, and I started taking music much more seriously. I started playing gigs with this rock band when I was 14 and never stopped. About four years later, I began to play in nightclubs and wedding bands all sorts of music and started to get into jazz.
That passion for jazz and bossa nova took me to pursue new paths. I moved to the United States for a few years, where I studied at the Musicians Institue and Berklee College of music and had the opportunity to learn with outstanding musicians such as Scott Henderson, Mick Goodrick, David Gilmore, and Mike Moreno.
As a side man, I had the opportunity to perform with many Brazilian artists such as Ivan Lins, Airto Moreira and Flora Purim, Filó Machado, and Kiko Loureiro during my career. Besides, I had a very prolific work as a recording musician and producer, and arranger.

Emmanuel was one of the best teachers i ever had. He has a near infinite knowledge of all things concerning improvisational music and jazz guitar, and also a great way of teaching that helps students succesfully approach their weaknesses. I'll recommend him to whoever wants to enhance their guitar and music skills.
Emmanuel is a great music teacher, with lots of experience, but the thing the comes to my mind when I think about his way to teach is the pacience and care that he has with the students.
Emmanuel Bach is an amazing teacher and player. He has a clinical eye on what you must know regarding musical approaches and theory. You will meet a tough teacher sometimes, but with a unique sense of humor. I learned a lot from him.
My name is Franco Caetano, professional guitarist on Carnival Cruise Lines.
I've been in contact with many musicians from all around the world, but by far Emmanuel is the best I've had close contact with.
Besides being an outstanding musician, he is also an excellent teacher. After being lost in so many online courses, just a few classes with him made me change the way I study, improvise and even the way I face being a professional musician. Each one of his classes will give you months of material to study and will give you the right and easy direction to be a better musician.
Specially if you already improvise, read music and has experience, he will easily show you the way to next level.Emmanuel is the best guitar instructor I’ve ever had lessons with who changed the way I play guitar drastically to a much better and mainly smarter one. His expertise is on jazz (and that’s What I was looking for, although I’m a rock enthusiast), even though he can play pretty much anything flawlessly. His knowledge on guitar (playing and deep theory knowledge) worth to be mentioned, and he can easily adapt to fit each student’s goals, regardless of their level. Another great quality is that he is extremely patient. He knows how to teach complex theory in a easy understandable way. I highly recommend him to any guitar player who really wants to improve on guitar to a higher level. I’m SO GRATEFUL for all he taught me over 3 years having classes with him. Go for it, you won’t regret it!
Cheers,
Eduardo DomanskiI have had five guitar teachers in my life. All great. But, Emmanuel was the first to really provide me with a motivation to KEEP THE STUDY. Because, in fact, I always dropped out after a while and was just looking for repertoire. One thing that sets him apart from other teachers I've had is that, even though I came to classes without having studied (because I have little time to dedicate myself), he brings something that adds to me: Emmanuel's class is a separate study, which always takes you further. Because of this, I progressed in a year rather than decades in my life. And precisely because Emmanuel knows what is needed. For him, the study of music includes listening to what is playing, having good taste and going to the heart of theory, in what matters to put under your finger. I highly recommend it.
Emmanuel is the most dillegent and understanding guitar teacher that I've had. Other than orginising amazing classroom lessons he really knows how to help his students practice the guitar at home and thats probably the most important thing. Other than being an incredible guitar player he's a selfless and helpful person who'll go far out of his way to help his students grow. Its been a real pleasure studying both music and life under Emmanuel!
Emmanuel is a great musician and a great teacher. He has great theoretical knowledge and is a master in practice. His teaching is excellent, which allows for a great and fast evolution of the student.
Emmanuel Bach worked for me for years, I have a Jazz club and I bring the biggest names in Brazilian Jazz to our city, Curitiba, in southern Brazil, I always called Emmanuel to make arrangements and direct the band assembled here to receive the masters guests.... Emmanuel made history at Dizzy Cafe's biggest shows!!! I'm very proud of this guy...
Emmanuel is an excellent music professor.
I believe that all students must be accompanied by good professors if they want to get success in their lives.
Because of this, I recommend to any music student that want develop a serious study of music and improve
her/his musical performance to study with Emmanuel.
He has a good habilities to do diagnostics and from that he adapts his classes to fill student´s musical gaps.
Now he is living in Canada and I´m living in Brazil. Despite of this, I will not change my improvisation and music professor. The Emmanuel on-line classes are very good.
Robinson Vida Noronha
Undergraduate Course Coordinator at Technological Federal University of Paraná- Brazil.Emmanuel is a knowledgeable musician that can teach an absolute beginner all the way to a professional guitarist. He’s very fluent in many styles - blues, jazz, metal and Brazilian bossa nova. I’ve been his student since 2020 and am really pleased with the progress thus far. He’s also very patient and professional. Had great experiences both learning online and face-to-face.
