About Mariam
I have tutored for the 11+ as well as maths and science for GCSE for over a year for several dozen students. I have watched my students grow massively in confidence and excel in their examinations. I completed Biology, Chemistry and English Literature A levels at Bexley Grammar School and am going to study undergraduate biomedical sciences at King's College London.

I immediately begin to assess a students strengths, weaknesses and pick up on their comfort with each topic within the subject. By first reviewing topics the student particularly enjoys or is talented in, they are instantly more confident, I can then determine the candidates concerns and interests. With this information I know how to stretch and challenge them as well as make my lessons engaging and enjoyable. I like to give each student many practice questions that we tackle together to ensure they are able to apply all the information they absorb as they become stronger and more independent. By evaluating their performance, I can tailor my teaching to tackle particular concepts.
