About Donna

I am an international university student in Vancouver. I have been learning the guitar since I was 8 and while I have stopped lessons, I continue to be self taught. I have been in choirs and vocal lessons for years as well and am very proficient in that area. I took piano lessons as a child and have proficient music theory skills from that as well as from taking IB music in high school. In regards to music theory I am happy to teach everything from the basics to helping figuring out softwares for transposition.

I can help you improve your musical ear with exercises, as well as assist in composition and songwriting skills in general if that's something you are interested in!

Music has always been a passion for me, and there is nothing I would love more than to share that passion and help others learn, improve, and develop their musical skills.

Happy to teach any age group, as well as offering lessons for individuals or groups up to 3.

It's never too early or late to start learning whether you've been thinking of learning for 5 minutes, or trying to start for years!

I tailor my lessons to the student and their needs, and my goal is to provide a strong foundation and basic understanding for students to continue to grow on their own if they so please.
