About George
My goal in teaching is of course focused on helping you pass exams, but my philosophy for how this is achieved is to inspire understanding as opposed to whiteboard memorisation. This is something i lacked in my school career and feel it is beneficial for anyone aspiring for top grades. The experience will be entirely tailored to your personal style of learning - whether this be hands on with plenty of questions, or more birds-eye with a broader view of the topic at hand.

My aim for teaching is to ensure students really understand the material required - not just know it by heart. I will do this by guiding them through a devised lesson plan, not just letting them listen but encouraging them to actively engage. My lessons will be tailored to areas students find difficult. I will also give them exam-like problems suited to their needs. Lessons will typically be an hour, but this can be adapted. I have previous tutoring experience, and achieved 3 A*s at A-Level in Maths, Further Maths and Physics. I can teach Maths and Further Maths for any students studying at GCSE and A-Level, as well as the corresponding courses in IB.
