About Carlos
I am a passionate Drum Tutor with more than 11 years of experience teaching college students. My aim is to help students learn drums with confidence, clarity, and creativity. My teaching approach is patient and organized. I guide students through fundamentals such as timing, coordination, grip, and posture before moving to complex rhythms.
Lessons are clear and easy to follow. I apply innovative techniques like rhythm layering, tempo control drills, and song-based learning. These methods help students understand how drums fit into real music situations. Creativity is an important part of my lessons. Students are encouraged to explore different styles and create their own grooves.
I also help them think critically about rhythm choices. As a mentor, I support students with clear guidance and consistent motivation. I focus on discipline, accountability, and steady improvement. My teaching style helps college students grow musically and personally.
