About Florine

Transitioning from industry software development into education was a natural step for me. I often find that coding is half logic and half pure confidence, and I treat both aspects as teachable skills for my students. Over the last 6 years, I have mentored hundreds of learners through complex C++ challenges and backend API design. I enjoy watching students solve difficult algorithmic puzzles on coding platforms using JavaScript or SQL because it highlights how much they have grown.

About the lesson

Solving a problem matters more than memorizing syntax. My background in Computer Science from McGill University informs the methodical structure I use to break down technical hurdles into manageable parts.

Working with HTML, CSS, and Java allows us to explore the breadth of modern software architecture in detail. You will find that my experience at Lighthouse Labs ensures our time together remains grounded in practical application.
