About Larry
Silence is the most important part of language acquisition. You will find that we rarely start by opening a textbook. Conversations flow through active listening and nuanced role play that prepare you for the real world. My approach includes mock DELF papers with detailed feedback to track your progress.
Advanced learners appreciate the deep dive into cultural context and writing. Accent correction feels like solving a complex puzzle together. Grammar becomes clear when we connect it to the rhythm of speech. It is genuinely satisfying to see confidence grow during dialogue practice.

Growing up in Sherbrooke shaped the way I view the French language as a living art. I am a native speaker.
My training at the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal gave me a rigorous foundation in the structure of language. Over 6 years of teaching, I have guided 204 students toward their goals. Integrating music and linguistics has defined my career. Teaching is simply a joy for me.
