About the lesson

I am a TEFL, ESL, and IELTS certified English tutor with 16 years of experience helping students improve their confidence, fluency, and communication skills. My teaching approach is student-centered, practical, and engaging, focusing on real-life communication, pronunciation, vocabulary building, and grammar in context. I adapt every lesson to the student’s goals, whether they want to improve conversational English, prepare for IELTS, or develop professional communication skills. A typical lesson begins with a short warm-up conversation, followed by focused practice on vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, or IELTS strategies, and ends with interactive speaking activities to build confidence and fluency. I use clear explanations, supportive feedback, and encouraging conversation to help students feel comfortable speaking English. My lessons are designed for beginners, intermediate, and advanced learners, including students, professionals, and anyone who wants to improve their English for work, study, travel, or daily communication. What sets me apart is my 16 years of experience, patient teaching style, and ability to create friendly, motivating lessons that help students speak English naturally and confidently.

I have never seen a tutor like him. He helped me to validate my IELTS exams and my other brother to validate his French exam so he could travel to France. Bertince is one of the best tutors I've ever met in my journey of learning the English language.

I have known Bertince for over 2 years as a colleague and as my French tutor. She is one of the most dedicated and professional teachers I know.
What I appreciate most about her teaching method is how patient and organized she is. She doesn't just teach grammar from a book - she makes the class interactive, focuses a lot on real conversation, pronunciation and practical exercises. She adapts every lesson to your level and your goals, which makes you progress very fast.
We had a shared experience preparing me for my DELF interview. I was very nervous, but she coached me with mock conversations until I felt completely confident, and I passed! She is truly a Super Tutor - trustworthy, kind, and highly effective. I recommend her 100%.
